Kingsway

Enplan, on behalf of landowners Sunley Holdings Plc successfully promoted approximately 30Ha of land on the east side of Kings Way in Burgess Hill through the Local Plan and led the consultancy team in the prepara­tion of the planning application.

Permission was ob­tained in 2014 and the development is currently under phased construction.

The site comprises a complex C18 enclosure landscape of small-sized pasture fields with substantial mature hedgerows and some fine double hedgerow ‘greenways’, with rolling topography and an intricate ditch system. The site also abuts Ditchling Common SSSI, onto which it drains.
