Redevelopment of the Wedgwood Factory Site for new residential development, refurbished factory and creation of a new visitor centre. The site is situated in Green Belt and achieved planning approval in 2013. Green infrastructure and landscape design, as well as detailed drawings including planting plans for the main part of the site. There were challenging issues over ecology and a buffer strip was created around the residential part of the site adjacent to the ancient woodland to protect habitats. A new balancing pond was created with diverse marginal habitats along with a series of redesigned great crested newt ponds. A visitor centre plaza was created with a series of terraces, outdoor markets and playable landscapes.
