Cobham Park


Part of a successful £8m Stage 2 Heritage Lottery Fund bid for the restoration of Cobham Park. The extensive Grade II* registered former deer park, principally exhibits the design work of Humphry Repton and includes the Darnley Mausoleum and Cobham Hall, both Grade I listed. The overall value of the designed landscape works for the Stage 2 bid were £5m with a successful first phase bid of £1.2m of landscape works. The works have included the complete restoration/ redesign of the courtyard spaces surrounding the Grade I house, the restoration of the wooded Northern Pleasure Grounds and West Park, as well as the restoration of the substantial Cobham Woods to wooded pasture.
