BRE Insite
Lead designer and supervisor of the winner of the Landscape Institute’s Sustainable Landscape competition for the BRE Insite. The project was constructed in one month and opened by Price Charles. The concept for the project was to provide a sustainable ‘homezone’ using the latest technology and materials to create a dynamic yet interesting landscape. The soft landscape comprised run off swales all with indigenous planting. The hard landscape comprised granite effect paving, shared surfaces, recycled materials and porous gravel. The street furniture comprised recycled plastic and an art screen was designed depicting all the species within the local ecologically diverse landscape.
